The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc, in the Philippines, held a ceremony in which the State of Qatar represented by the Embassy was honored and awarded for its permanent and ongoing contributions over the past three years in the efforts of the Foundation for women, youth and persons with physical disability in the Philippines.

HE Ali Bin Ibrahim Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Philippines, met with Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, former Philippine President and current Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of the Philippines.

The meeting was also joined by the Philippine Ambassador to Qatar, His Excellency Alan L. Timbayan, Undersecretary Claro Arellano of DOLE and other officials from Philippine Embassy-Doha, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), International Labor Affairs DOLE and Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), along with CDA of the Embassy of Qatar and other Officials from the Republic of the Philippines.
