Strategies of the Republic of the Philippines

Philippines is going into clear deliberate strategies steps on the internal and external levels, recognizing the size of the current and future challenges that facing the region, where it pursues an independent strategy without interfering in the affairs of other countries. Current President of the Republic of the Philippines, Mr. Rodrigo Duterte, has gained a wide popularity among Filipino people, especially the poorer classes, because of his humility and modesty that characterized by sarcastic comments, and his pledges to eliminate criminals and drug dealers, these factors put him at the forefront of the presidential candidates and caused his landslide winning by millions of votes in the May 9 2016 election. There are several issues that occupy the political arena at the national level, as well as on the international political arena, which is the fight against corruption, drugs and the fight against terrorism in the southern part of the Philippines.
