H.E. Ali Ibrahim Al-Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Manila, met  Hon. Leslie Baja, Asst. Secretary of Foreign Affairs Department for Middle East & African Affairs  (DFA - OMEAA), in the Republic of the Philippines, in attendance of Hon. Elmer G. Cato, Acting Asst. Secretary of Public Diplomacy, and other Directors and Officials from the Office (OMEAA).

During the meeting, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, as well as ways to strengthen relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines in various fields, among other political and economic issues.
