His Excellency Ahmed Saad Al Homidi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Philippines, attended, on  June 7, 2024, at Westin Manila Hotel, Mandaluyong City, the annual briefing organized by the office of His Excellency Mr. Gustavo Gonzalez, UN Resident Coordinator and in the Philippines.

 

During the meeting, views were exchanged between the United Nations agencies in the Philippines, and the Diplomatic Missions of the UN member states, on the achievements of the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework in the Philippines (UNSDCF) until 2023, and also the most features of the new framework for the years 2024 – 2028, were reviewed. The framework which directs the United Nations partnership with stakeholders in the Philippines to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
