His Excellency Ahmed Saad Al-Homidi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Philippines, attended the second State of the Nation Address "SONA" of His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Philippine House of Representatives, at the of the second regular session of the 19th Philippine Congress, on Monday, July 24, 2023, which took place at the Philippine House of Representatives.
President Marcos' speech that lasted for more than one hour,, comes two years after he assumed office, during which he discussed the achievements of his Administration during the past year, in economic, political, social and health fields, among others, and the programs prepared for the coming year.
The audience included a large number of Department Secretaries, and government officials, including Vice President/ Sara Duterte, former presidents, former vice presidents, and parliamentarians, together with members of the diplomatic corps, judges, and representatives of local and international media.
