On this day, I am honored to convey my profound congratulations and warm wishes to His Excellency Ferdinand Marcos Jr, President of the Republic of the Philippines, and to the Government and Citizens of this beloved country on the occasion of the 125th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of the Philippines.
The State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines enjoy the strong mutual relations based on respect, common interests, coordination and bilateral dialogue. It is also further enhanced by values of peace, stability and human solidarity.
Since the establishment in 1981, Qatar- Philippines relations have witnessed remarkable developments in several fields, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh/ Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, “may Allah protect him”, and His Excellency/ Ferdinand Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, where bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields have been concluded.
I would like to reaffirm the permanent keenness of the State of Qatar to strengthen and develop its existing relations with the Republic of the Philippines.
I am also pleased to express my sincere desire for these relations to prosper for the common good and aspirations of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
