His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, on Thursday, March 23, 2023, received the credentials of His Excellency Ahmed bin Saad Al Homidi, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Philippines.

 

During the meeting, Qatar Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar "may Allah preserve him", to His Excellency the Philippine President, in addition to His Highness's wishes to His Excellency for good health and wellness, and to the government and people of the Philippines for further progress, growth and prosperity.

 

On other hand, the Philippine President, conveyed through Qatar Ambassador, his greetings to His Highness, "may Allah preserve him", wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the government and people of the State of Qatar more progress and prosperity. The President also wished His Excellency the Ambassador all the success in performing his duties in Manila, in a way that strengthens the fruitful bilateral cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines.
